<p>‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’ was the second collaboration between Adah Sharma and Sudipto Sen. <p>Early estimates state that “Bastar: The Naxal Story” made Rs 24 lakh on its fourth day of sales, according to the Sacnilk website. On its third day, the film brought in Rs 85 lakh, and as of right now, it has made almost Rs 2.24 crore.</p>
<p>Before the film’s premiere, “Bastar” caused a stir when some JNU students staged protests against it. A few students even called for the “Bastar” creators to be held accountable. Adah added, “When you play a tough cop like Neerja Mathur in Bastar, I want people to think that I portrayed her in the strongest, most fearless, and powerful way,” in an interview with News18 on the criticism. I want everyone to take my words in the movie seriously.</p>
