After Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawaan”, Gulab Jamun Uncle will be seen in Vikrant Rai’s “Cousin Isha”.

Mumbai: Naresh Gosain, popularly known as Gulab Jamun Uncle from the popular Swiggy ad, has been roped in to join the cast of the upcoming Hindi romantic film ‘Cousin Isha’! 
“Gulab Jamun Uncle” is a popular character portrayed by actor Naresh Gosain,  first seen in April 2018 during the IPL of the same year.

Later he also appeared in a memorable scene from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawaan, released in 2023. 
Now he is going to play the role of father of actor Vikrant Rai, popular for his television roles in many hit tv shows & who now takes the spotlight as a leading man for the fifth time on big screen while also making a groundbreaking debut behind the camera as a director. 

Naresh Gosain has been active in the film industry for the last 35 years & has acted in notable films like “Jawan”, “Behan Hogi Teri”, “Oye Lucky Oye” and “Dabangg 3”.

In Cousin Isha he will be seen playing the role of a sweet shop owner and a doting father. 

According to the makers, “Cousin Isha” is a beautiful film about love. It tells a gentle and emotional story that shows how deep and powerful love can be. With its unique story and heartfelt moments, the film hopes to truly touch the hearts of the audience.

This film, being made under the banner of VRF is the first musical romantic Hindi film shot in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.

The shooting and post production work of the film has been completed in almost a year and the release date will be announced soon.
