Akums reports robust Q1 FY27 performance with 13.9 Percent YoY Revenue growth

New Delhi,11th August 2026: Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd., India’s largest Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), announced its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, marking a strong start to FY27. The Company delivered healthy growth in revenue, operating profitability and PAT, supported by continued momentum in its CDMO business, improved operating performance and healthy customer demand.

Akums reported operating revenue of ₹1,167 crore in Q1 FY27, registering a 13.9% year-on-year growth compared with ₹1,024 crore in Q1 FY26. EBITDA increased 35.4% year-on-year to ₹175 crore, with EBITDA margin improving to 15.0% from 12.6%. PAT stood at ₹101 crore, compared with ₹65 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. PAT margin also improved to 8.4% from 6.2%.

The CDMO business remained the key growth driver during the quarter. CDMO revenue increased to ₹964 crore, compared with ₹813 crore in Q1 FY26, while CDMO EBITDA grew 36.8% year-on-year to ₹163 crore from ₹119 crore in Q1 FY26, supported by continued volume growth and improvement in API prices.
